Breakfast and departure by National Route Nr 234 from San Martín de Los Andes and Provincial Route Nr 61, going in north-west direction of Chimehuín river (in Mapuche language “place where the great cat lives”) which runs on the right. Afterwards, we will arrive at the east end of Huehulafquen Lake, the gateway to Lanín National Park, where Chimehuín river starts. It is a major attraction internationally known as one of the most famous fishing spots of the Patagonia. At this place, Cañicul and Raquitué Mapuche Communities.

Breakfast and departure by Route Nr 234 and then Provincial Route Nr 19 to Cerro Chapelco.
The most important ski centre of Neuquén Province works there. Alpine, cross-country ski and snowboard can be practised. Its skiing surface covers 140 hectares from the base, at 1280 metres above sea level, up to the summit at 1980 metres above sea level. It has 20 tracks and 10 ski lifts can carry 11,600 skiers per hour.
From the ski centre base, an exceptional panorama can be observed, with Argentinian and Chilean peaks as well as the Lanín Volcano. During summer, this centre becomes a place for non-conventional tourist disciplines such as climbing, mountain bike, paragliding, trekking, horse riding and golf among others. Return to San Martín de los Andes by Provincial Route Nr 19. During the journey, Arrayan Watchtower and Centenario Natural Reserve can be visited.

Breakfast and departure by National Route Nr 234 to Quilla Quina village. This beach is located on the left bank of Lácar Lake. Its vegetation makes it highly attractive. Water sports can be performed in its waters, and it has organised camping. We will enjoy the landscape till noon, when we get back to San Martin de Los Andes.
